Hello :)

Studying Electrical Engineering at USC was an incredible experience. It offered a lot of potentials in the future; however, it also brought a lot of stress and anxiety into my life.

I was constantly feeling overwhelmed and anxious. And I could not share that with my friends because I did not want to feel less than others. So, I lived with that feeling for a while until yoga came into my life.

I found yoga very intriguing - it was not just a sweaty workout; it actually uplifted my mood. So I became more consistent in my yoga practice and got better at it gradually. I would walk out of an hour long yoga class feeling like I just finished an mission impossible!

That feeling inside of me would carry through the rest of the day and I found improvements in all aspects of my life. My fear and loathing of sweat was long gone and even hot yoga made its way into my routine and really helped push me mentally and physically to be a stronger person.

I wanted to bring that uplifted feeling to everyone and connect them to their minds and bodies. Meanwhile, I also felt strongly about connecting people together through yoga - a community that builds healthy body and mind together.

I wanted to keep the integrity of yoga but also add some fitness elements into the sequence to give everyone options in their daily routine.

I hope everyone that finishes my class feels awesome about themselves - stronger and happier!
